As with any shared Maruti Suzuki-Toyota product, the Taisor gets a couple of distinguishing design elements to stand out. That includes a new honeycomb mesh grille with the Toyota logo and redesigned LED DRLs that have a similar motif as the Hyryder. At the side, the Taisor sits on new 16-inch alloys, while the connected LED tail lamps at the rear have its unique signature.
There’s also a new Orange colour on offer that isn’t available with the Fronx.
On the inside, the overall dashboard layout and design is identical to the Fronx. Even the black/maroon colour scheme is similar to its Maruti counterpart. The only change on the inside is the Toyota logos instead of the Suzuki one.

The Toyota Taisor gets all the features that are already available in the Fronx. Highlights include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, steering-mounted audio controls, cruise control, a coloured multi-info display and a heads-up display.
Passenger safety is taken care of by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control and a 360-degree camera.
The Toyota Taisor is powered by the same engine options as the Fronx. You can opt from either a 90PS 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 77PS 1.2-litre CNG powertrain or a more powerful 100PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine. A 5-speed manual transmission is offered as standard, while automatic options include a 5-speed AMT for the NA petrol and 6-speed torque converter for the turbo-petrol.
Apart from its donor car, the Fronx, the Toyota Taisor also locks horns with the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
